Inspired by Her Mother
Dr. Fatima Butt's journey into dentistry began with her mother's experience with severe gum disease. Growing up without regular dental care and with a difficult relationship with dentistry, her mother needed full-mouth extractions by the time Dr. Fatima was able to care for her.
Helping her through that experience profoundly changed Dr. Fatima and shaped the dentist she is today — one who provides compassionate, comfortable care, especially for the people she loves most.
Her mother remains the greatest inspiration behind her career in dentistry.
A Family Business
Dentistry is woven deeply into Dr. Fatima's family in a special way. Her father manufactures dental hand instruments, and many of the instruments used every day at Z Family & Cosmetic Dentistry are made by him.
Caring for her patients with instruments created by her own father is a beautiful reminder that dentistry truly runs through her family.
Every instrument she holds is a daily reminder of the family she serves it with.
A Dental Home for Zayna
One of Dr. Fatima's greatest joys is raising her daughter, Zayna, in her very own dental home. Zayna comes to the office, meets their patients, and grows up surrounded by the family they have created there.
The office was even converted into a nursery for her, and their patients have been incredibly kind, patient, and loving toward Zayna. Her daughter is growing up with not only her immediate family, but a big dental family who loves and cares for her.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Fatima loves making food, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying the simple moments that bring the people she loves together.
For her, dentistry is more than a career: it is a family legacy, a way to serve others, and a deeply personal passion. She is grateful every day for the opportunity to care for her patients and to build a dental home where everyone feels like family.
